Kerry Accola

Research Scientist

I am a Research Scientist in the FAR and WET labs. My current work involves nearshore ecology projects in Washington and Oregon, where I use applied research, including acoustic technology, to study the influences of anthropogenic impacts and restoration effectiveness on ecosystem function. Much of my work centers around juvenile Pacific salmon and their habitat and diet requirements. I am interested in food web dynamics and understanding sustainable solutions for aquatic organisms in urban environments. In my spare time, I love to hike and backpack with friends and family.
